List of cultivated plant families

Welcome to the main entry page. The purpose of this part of the site is to provide information about the cultivated plants of Caprivi.

It is intended eventually to include all families, genera and species which are cultivated in Caprivi but at this stage only a very few species are included.

There are 3 columns of information.

  1. The first column is a series of links to the families. Click on a link to enter the family pages.
  2. The purpose of the second column, which is headed 'Content', is to indicate in a simple way whether there is any content for that particular family. Specifically, it indicates whether the family description has been done and whether there is a sample image for the family.
  3. The third column provides links to the genera and species laid out in a checklist format.

See here for a list of recently updated cultivated species.

Click on a letter below to take you to the first family whose name begins with that letter.
