Description: |
Small shrub or suffrage up to 1.2 m tall, often flowering on annual shoots arising from a woody rootstock. Stems erect to spreading, sparsely to densely pubescent or pilose to shortly villous. Leaves pinnate, 7-19-foliolate, 2-12 cm long; terminal leaflet 5-23 x 2.5-17 mm, obovate or elliptic, sparsely to densely hairy above and below. Inflorescences racemose, 2-10 cm long, densely many flowered. Calyx 1.5-3 mm, densely hairy; lobes broadly triangular, shorter than tube. Corolla 13-19 mm long, pointed at apex in bud. Pod 35-60 x 3-4 mm, cylindrical, glabrous. Seeds 6-10, 2.5-3.5 x 2-2.5 mm, squarish to oblong, dark brown. |
