Description: |
Erect annual herb, up to 40 cm tall. Stems simple or branched, covered with both whitish hairs and longer yellowish hairs. Leaves 2.5 - 12 cm long, ovate-lanceolate, densely hairy on both surfaces, deeply serrate to shallowly lobed; margin of the primary teeth or lobes toothed again. Flowers yellow to orange, in 2-7-flowered racemes; peduncles 2-10 cm long, covered in long spreading hairs. Capsule 3-6 cm long, erect, beaked. See Streptopetalum serratum for comparison. |
