Description: |
Erect annual or perennial, growing from a rhizomatous rootstock. All parts with stellate hairs. Leaves ovate to lanceolate, becoming linear towards the top of the stems. Flowers up to 4.5 cm in diameter, solitary in the upper leaf axils, white with a yellowish staminal tube. Capsule 8-15 mm in diameter, depressed-spherical. |
