Description: |
Shrubby perennial herb with annual stems, growing from a woody rootstock. Leaves narrowly oblong-elliptic, up to c. 30 × 7 cm, sometimes much broader near the base of the stems, pubescent; apex bluntly rounded. Flowers pink to mauve in terminal racemes up to 12 cm long. Capsule up to 7 × 4 mm, elliptic-oblong, slightly winged mainly near the apex. |
