Description: |
Perennial herb, growing from a short thick rhizome. Leaves almost fully developed at the time of flowering. Inflorescence up to 15-flowered on a separate shoot from the base of the leaves. Flowers short-lived, appearing in succession, large and showy, pink with a white centre. The large lip has a yellow nectar guide with or without a dark purple mark on either side. |

Habitat: | In semi-shade in woodland, sometimes at the foot of termite mounds. |
