Description:
|
Robust perennial, up to 195 cm tall. Culms few, solitary from the ends of stolons. Stolons pith-filled with transverse rings (septa) at 5-50 mm intervals. Leaves reduced to sheaths. Inflorescence a simple anthela, primary branches 5-8, 1-10 cm long, spikelets in loosely digitate clusters. |
