Notes: Shrub; Notes: Shrub 2 m high. Yellow flowers with 5 long petals that are separated and curling backwards, sepals short and close to base of flowers. Leaves alternate ovate with serrate margins. Stipule ear-shaped and clearly visible. Leaves bicoloured and rough to touch. Fruits round capsules. Light grey stem, velvety to touch on young shoots. Fruits in pair of 3. Along road on slight plain. Not very common.
