| Notes: | 20 m high; Tree; Notes: Tree, 20 m tall, with rough bark, splitting into rectangular blocks, like a crocodiles skin. Leaves: bright green above, smooth and shiny, paler below. Flowers: axillary. Ovary with 2 rows of sepals (4 each, curled back), then a ring of creamy white petals standing erect, 10, then what looks like another ring of petals closed around the ovary, with the pistil protruding, no stigma. Fruit: oval, fleshy, with large pip. Orange/yellow. |
