| Notes: | Herb; Notes: Annual herb, 30 cm high. Stems slender, terete, much branched from base, yellow-green with dense white adpressed indumentum. Leaves alternate, imparipinnately dicompound; petiole slender, 10 mm long, grey-green with dense white indumentum; rhachis 1.5 - 4 cm long bearing 1 - 3 pairs of pinnae and 1 terminal pinna; stipule minutely lanceolate, < 1 cm long, caducous; lamina broadly ovate in outline; pinna narrowly ovate, apex rounded to minutely apiculate, base rounded, slightly oblique, up to 35 x 6 mm, terminally larger, dull grey-green with dense white adpressed indumentum on both surfaces, shortly stalked. Inflorescence an axillary, spicate raceme, 50 - 80 cm long. Flowers small, up to 4 mm long, alternately arranged, pendulous, pubescent. Petals purple. Sepals 5, free, filiform. Fruit a pod, densely pubescent. |
