| Notes: | Tree; Notes: Small, bushy tree, 3-4 m high. Bark greyish; branchlets with prominent lenticels. Leaves simple, alternate; petioles ca. 25 mm long, curved with dense white stellate indumentum; lamina cordiform, ca. 50 x 30 mm, apex acute, base cordate with pair of stalked glands, margin dentate, adaxially dark green, sparsely stellate, abaxially silver with dense silvery stellate indumentum. Flowers in axillary, spicate racemes of length ca. 30 mm, insignificant, ca. 5 mm in diameter, globose; pedicel 3-6 mm long, slender; sepals 5, free, green, adaxially concave; petals slightly exerted beyond calyx, white-green, pubescent; stamens numerous, curled, exerted. |
