Notes: 3 m high; Tree; Notes: Small, rounded tree, 3 m high. Bark grey-brown; branchlets opposite, perpendicular to axial branch. Leaves simple, arrangement varies from sub-opposite to fascicled; petiole smooth, yellow-green; lamina ovate, ca. 50 x 25 mm, apex acute to apiculate, base cuneate, margin entire but sinuate, yellow-green, glossy, slightly viscose, venation prominent, thinly textured. Flowers insignificant, small, 4-6 mm long in dense, axillary, spicate racemes 20-40 mm long; buds ca. 1.5 mm in diameter; calyx cupular, 4-lobed; petals absent; stamens 8 (4 well-exerted; 4 adnate to calyx lobes); style initially well-exerted; ovary cylindrical, inferior.
