Leaves alternate, simple to pinnati-lobate; lamina linear to imparipinnatisect, margin entire but revolute, apex acute, base sheathed, up to 40 x 7 mm, dull green, glabrous. Flowers in lax axillary/terminal racemes, small, 8 mm in diameter, subtended by fringed, membranous bract. Perianth segments free, 5, ovate, 4 x 1.5 mm, cream-coloured. Pedicel at most 5 mm long.
