Leaves alternate, trifoliolate; petiole slender, 1.5-2.5 cm long, indumentum as above; stipule linear, 6 mm long, green, caducous; lamina cordiform; pinna obovate, apex truncate, base cuneate, margin irregularly crenate to lobed, median pinna = up to 20 x 12 mm, laterally up to 15 x 10 mm, bright green with pinkish edging, adaxially glabrous, abaxially with sparse adpressed indumentum, venation prominent. Flowers past, solitary, axillary/terminal. Sepals 5, persistent, ovate, fused, margins green, costally maroon-purple, intercostally hyaline, densely pubescent.
