Date of birth: 1901 BiographyBorn at Handsworth, Staffordshire, England in 1901. Iter Zambesiacum 1955Together with Hiram Wild and F Mendonca in 1955 he made a rapid but extensive journey through each of the 5 countries which was to comprise the Flora Zambesiaca project. The purpose was to survey the area for the purpose of agreeing upon the terms used for the vegetational units. Over 1000 specimens were collected. |
