Expedition no. 33: Second Chimanimani Survey: 24 Oct 2014-06 Nov 2014
The second expedition to the Mozambique side of the Chimanimani Mountains. We tackled more different area and altitudes to get a better idea about frequencies and distributions of the rare and endemic plants in this mountain range, particularly on the Mozambican side where many of these species have not been recorded before. We also looked at the impact of recent artisanal gold mining in the area. (Bart Wursten).
