Entolasia Stapf

Description of the genus

Inflorescence of racemes along a central axis, the spikelets borne singly on the rhachis or in neat appressed secondary racemelets. Spikelets narrowly elliptic. Inferior glume short, triangular, the superior as long as spikelet. Superior lemma coriaceous, pubescent.

Worldwide: Five species in tropical Africa and Australia.

Caprivi: 1 taxon.
