Common names:
Description: Multi-stemmed perennial herb, up to 40 cm, growing from a branched rhizome. Leaves ovate-lanceolate, 3-7-veined from the base, sparsely hairy on both surfaces; margin coarsely serrate. Inflorescences unisexual, mostly on different plants. Male racemes erect, densely-flowered, up to 13 cm long, reddish-brown. Female flower with long crimson filiform style arms. Fruit 3 × 4 mm, 3-lobed, reddish.
